PRODUCT STORY · MAGIC LOGO

A print proof before there is an order

The classic sequence: the customer asks for a proof, inside sales makes a drawing, two days later there is a PDF — for an order that does not exist yet. With Magic Logo the customer sees their logo on the product straight away, on the right print area, with the technique and the price alongside.

The situation

With every distributor we speak to, the same conversation is about the same half hour: making a proof for a customer who has not ordered yet. It is work that is not paid for and still has to happen, because a customer does not decide without an image.

At three requests a day that is an hour and a half of unpaid work, and it is also the first work to be left undone when things get busy — exactly when there is the most to sell.

The challenge

Showing a proof is only useful if it is right. That requires, per product: the print areas, the techniques, the maximum dimensions per area and the price breaks of that technique. That data is not in a supplier feed. It is in a PDF with a line drawing, or in the price list, or in the head of someone who has worked there for twenty years.

Building that layer is the work Magic Logo rests on, and it has to be done per variant: a bottle has a different print area than its cap. On top of that comes a detail that only hurts in practice: the proof has to be right at actual size. A drawing that looks good but is 2 % too large gives the printer a problem and the customer a disappointment.

How it works

The customer picks a product, uploads their logo, chooses a technique and a position, and sees the result straight away on the product photo or on a 3D model they can rotate. The price is included, setup costs and all.

Magic Preview — which belongs with Magic Logo — shows the image that goes to the customer. What the customer sees is the same drawing the printer gets: not an impression of the result, but the result itself, at actual size.

What is in place

The numbers below were taken from the running systems on 20 September 2026. They say how many products are ready to make a proof from, not how many proofs are made per month.

The work is in the preparation per supplier. At PF Concept the imprint areas come from the 3D models; at XD Connects each product carried a collective code instead of a technique.

14,952 products preparedReady for logo visualisation, with 11,501 configurations for areas and positions. Measured 20 September 2026.
PF Concept: 5,345 variantsPrepared with the imprint areas from the supplier's 3D models.
XD Connects: 5,032 variantsPrepared, with the collective code per product replaced by the real techniques.
Proof at actual sizeThe proof comes out as a PDF at actual size, one to one with production.

The result

No waiting time for a first proof, less work for inside sales, and a better chance that a request becomes an order. The customer sees their logo at the moment they are thinking about it, not two days later.

What we do not add is a time saving in minutes. The number of proofs per month and the time per proof have not been measured, so they are listed below as an open point.

What runs today

Magic Logo runs at several customers on the same catalogue as the sales environment, among them Brinxx and the ongoing project at Spranz. Every feed that is added brings new products that need areas and techniques.

At Logohorloge the tool sits next to the sales environment, with a button on the product page. At Bedrukjeshirt.com there is textile with several print areas behind it. The same layer, different products.

What the customer says about it

This quotation is a draft. We wrote it down the way we understood it from the conversations, so that it can be put to the customer. It only goes live once the customer has approved it word for word and the name and role are in place.

“We were making proofs for orders that did not exist yet. We do not do that any more.”
«name and role to be added»

Send us one product

One product with a logo is enough to show the difference. We put it into Magic Logo, with the print areas, the technique and the price breaks, and you get the proof back at actual size.
