TOOL · MAGIC BACKGROUND

Cut-out product, transparent logo

Background removal with AI, one photo or a whole folder, with edges that hold up on hair and glass.

What it is

What this is about

Magic Background removes the background of an image. That sounds simple and is, for a rectangular box; it gets hard with glass, a protruding strap or a product with thin parts. The tool delivers a PNG with transparency, so the product can stand on any surface without a white edge that only shows up on the lifestyle shot.

It works just as well on logos. A customer supplying a JPG with a white background — which in practice is almost always — gets back a transparent logo that is usable for engraving and screen printing. That is work that took minutes per image and now runs per folder, with the same crop and the same margin every time.

Magic Background uses AI for instant background removal. Upload a product photo or logo and receive a clean cutout with transparent background. Perfect for catalogs, webshops and print preparation.

State-of-the-art AI for perfect cutouts. Works with complex products, transparent materials and fine details.

Who it is for

Who we built this for

Anyone with product imagery from more than one source, and every sales desk receiving customer logos in the wrong format. Also for anyone who wants a calm overview page: products sitting in the same spot in the frame help more than a new design.

In practice those are two very different users. One processes an entire supplier folder in a single run and cares above all about repeatability; the other has one logo from one customer and wants it usable within a minute. Both routes run here, with the same outcome and without anyone having to touch an image editor.

What you get with it:

AI background removal
Transparent PNG output
Batch processing possible
Transparent logos for print
Consistent result
Saves hours of manual work
What it does

What actually happens

The quality sits in the edges and in the repeatability. Anyone can cut out one photo; cutting out three hundred with the same crop and the same margin is where handwork gives up.

Background removal in one action

Upload, wait, download. No settings you have to understand first.

Edges that hold up

Also on complex shapes: glass, transparent parts, thin straps and protruding elements.

PNG with transparency or JPG with background

You choose per channel, because a webshop and a printed catalogue do not ask for the same thing.

Making customer logos usable

A logo with a white background becomes transparent, which makes it usable for decoration.

Whole folders at once

Hundreds of images in one job, with the same result across the folder.

Fixed crop and margin

The product lands in the same spot in the frame every time, which makes an overview page look calm instead of messy.

Parts

Simple but powerful

No complex settings. Upload, wait a moment, download the cutout. Done.

How it connects

How it fits with the rest

The cut-out image goes to the DAM side of the PIM, linked per variant. Magic Logo and Magic Moodshots use it, and Image Editor draws the print areas on it. Magic Clean comes first if there is still a foreign print on the photo, because removing a background does not solve a brand name on the product.

This tool runs with us as a separate service, so it can be used without the rest of the platform: you supply imagery, you get imagery back. Anyone adding the PIM later links the existing files to the variants instead of redoing the work. That is also the order we keep to in a migration: first make the imagery usable, only then make the links, so a half-clean set never ends up in the catalogue.

What it delivers:

Isolated products ready for the webshop.
Transparent logos ready for printing.
Consistent results every time.
Saves hours of manual work.

Send a folder of photos and get them back cut out

Deliberately include a few hard ones: glass, a bottle with a strap, a product with a thin handle. That is where you see whether the edges hold up, and that is all that counts in a cut-out photo.

If you also supply customer logos, we will include them in the same job. Then you can see straight away what can be made of a JPG with a white background.
