The last step: from quote to a machine-ready file
Exact logo placement, approval by the customer, and a file the machine understands.

What this is about
Fast Editor is the bridge between the quote and production. When a customer requests a quote with artwork through the sales environment or through Magic Agent, the product can go to Fast Editor automatically. There the logo is positioned exactly, the tool checks resolution, format and colours, and the customer approves the placement through a personal link. Only after that approval is the machine-ready file produced and passed on to production.
What separates this from a proof you email is the order of events. Here the file exists only after the customer has seen and confirmed what will be produced, and the file that follows is the same file he approved. That removes the most common mistake in this work: an attachment adjusted one more time along the way, with nobody able to say afterwards which version was on the machine.
Fast Editor bridges digital quotation and physical production. When a customer requests a quotation with artwork via Magic Agent, the product is automatically sent to Fast Editor for exact logo positioning, customer approval, and machine-ready file generation.
Major project in development: Magic Agent takes the order, Magic Workflow and Flowbuilder process it, Fast Editor places the logo and sends to production machine.
Who we built this for
Companies that print or engrave themselves, and companies that pass work to a regular printer. In short: anyone for whom a wrong file means a wrong print run, and for whom that run cannot then be undone.
What you get with it:
What actually happens
What happens here happens in this order: place, check, have it approved, and only then export. That order is the whole point — a check on a file already sitting at the printer is not a check any more but a cost.
Exact logo placement
The logo in the right spot on the right area, with a preview of what will be produced.
Approval by the customer
The customer views and approves the placement through a link of his own, before anything is made. That puts the responsibility where it belongs.
Quality checks
Automatic checks on resolution, format and colours. A 200-pixel logo is stopped before it becomes a problem.
Machine-ready file
The output goes out in the format the machine or the printer expects, not as a PDF somebody still has to work on.
Part of the chain
Magic Agent takes the enquiry, Flowbuilder and Magic Workflow process the data, Fast Editor places and checks, and the machine receives the file.
No manual steps in between
Nobody has to open a file, adjust it and forward it. That saves time, but above all it saves versions living side by side.
Process efficiëntie
Fast Editor makes the process from logo to machine as efficient as possible. No manual steps, no human errors.
Logo Placement
Exact positioning on the product with live preview.
Approval Flow
Customer reviews and approves before production.
Quality Check
Automatic check on resolution, format, and colors.
Machine Export
Production-ready files sent to the machine.
How it fits with the rest
Magic Logo makes the example and the proof for your customer; Fast Editor makes the production file. The order comes from the ERP module or from Magic Agent, and the flow in between sits in Flowbuilder. If you only need visualisation, Magic Logo is enough; if you want to reach the machine, you put Fast Editor behind it. That is a deliberate choice and not an automatic extension of one into the other.
The print areas and the techniques per article come from the PIM, where they also feed the price calculation in the ERP module. So the file reaches the machine with the same technique and the same area the quote was calculated on, and not with a variant that appeared somewhere along the way.
What it delivers:
Fast Editor is an external tool
Fast Editor is not ours: it is an external tool (fasteditor.com) that we work with through an integration. We would rather say so than have you find out, because it decides who you deal with when something about the tool changes, and where a failure can come from. What we supply is the chain around it: the enquiry, the flow, the checks and handing the approved file back.
If you only need an example for your customer and not a production file, Magic Logo is enough and you do not need this. That saves an integration and a supplier, and we would rather say that up front than after you have signed for it.
Does your print work run on emails with attachments?
We show what that same chain looks like without attachments: from the enquiry to the file arriving at the machine, with a single customer approval in between. You will see straight away at which point something goes missing in the way you work now.
Bring along a job that recently went wrong. That is the fastest way to see whether this solves your problem or would add a tool you do not need.
